Scratch Dinosaur Test

Use a nature background.

Get rid of the cat.

Start with a dinosaur in the middle.

Use the ‘x’ and ‘y’ to have him go to any two corners.

Put him in a loop to turn around or flip 3 times

Then have a human appear and say “good bye”

Scratch High School Broadcast

Make a program that will use ‘Broadcast’ to do the following:

Make a program that will give a synopsis of each year of high school.  There should be four functions.  Each one should have the following:

• A number (9-12)
• words that summarize that year
• sprites reenacting the scene

For example – for year 9, you might want to put the words “girlfriend” and two sprites holding hands.

For example – your year 10, you might want to put the words “job” and a sprite making a hamburger.

Hint: you will need to use the commands “broadcast” to make the grade. Then “receive” to put in the code for that grade.

Our country has a “progressive” tax scale.  That means the more money you make – the higher taxes you pay.

Look up the 2020 tax rate  table.  It will tell you how much a “single” person has to play.

• Ask the user how much money they make.
• Use a branch to put you in the correct bracket.
• Do a math formula to display how much you have to pay in taxes.
